UsabilityPress Theme Panel is a very simple to use, yet powerful theme, aimed to create production-ready websites in a matter of hours. After installing, the whole content creation process can be run by anyone, thanks to the underlying UsabilityPress theme interface. The theme itself is clean and can accommodate many types of content in any quantity. It’s great for creating vast company websites, service pages, documentation stores and e-magazine systems.
Choose the desired accent colour four your website (orange, lime, blue or red).
If you want to change a particular element of the theme you can apply custom css by inputing it inot this box.
Themes gives you the ability to resize it’s typography without breaking the layout. You can do so by changing the settings in this boxes. Remember that the “normal” setting is the most standard case and it will be perfect for 95% of cases.
On the “Featured Posts” pages you’ll site 5 labeled block (First block, Second block, etc). Each block represents a featured posts content element on your home page. You can have up to 5 content blocks activated simultaniously.
For each block you can set:
a) The block title
b) The see more button label
c) How many rows of content
should the block display (up to 3)
d) From which category, parent
page the content should be
e) The block presentation method
The content in the featured posts block can be shown in 4 different ways:
a) Simple Text Only - shows the header, the excerpt and the “more” button
b) Thumbnails - shows the header, the post’s thumbnail, the excerpt and the “more” button
c) Numbers - add numbers to the header of the posts displayed in the content block, good for listing core services , products or process steps
d) Quotes - display the header and the excerpt in a quote form with a slide
Drag & drop to acitvate the display of particular block and to order them from top to bottom on the home page.
Choose the content for your slider with drag & drop. Simply put the desired category or page into the “active” box and your set! Remember: only posts with a configured post template will show up in the slider.
Easily customize your slider with the below options:
a) Slides layout: choose the slide’s text overlay position
b) Description form: show formated or unformated (excerpt) text
c) Slider buttons: Show curent slide “dot” indicators below the slider
d) Next / previous buttons: Show next / previous buttons
e) Auto advance slider: Progress slides automatically
f) Pause slider on hover: Pauses the slider when hovered over
g) Slide duration: how long a single slide will be shown
h) Slide animation: choose the effect of slide change
To translate an item just input the translation into the corresponding translation key field (in the example below the “more” button is translated). P.S. The translation fields can also be used as simple label changers.
Allows to upload your company’s logo. If no logo is uploaded then the the website displays the text in the “text only mode” input field. Logo uploading is managed by the standard WordPress media library upload.
You can setup your 404 page title and message in this panel.
Here you can enter the e-mail addres on which the contact form requests will be send and the thank you message for the form.
This option controls which module the theme should use for SEO. You can use our builtin module for out of the box basic SEO options (suitable for most sites), or you can select the “external SEO plugins” options to use WordPress integrated SEO and allow external SEO plugins to work.
Enter the text to use on archive pages as the “meta description” tag when using the builtin SEO module.
TEnter thea comma separated list of keywords for your website (active when using the builtin SEO module).
Drag & drop items to the “Active” column to configure your main menu.
Enable or disable the dropdown menu and configure the count of the dropdown menu items. The “Use WordPress Settings” configuration uses the “Archive page displays X posts” setting.
